- Types of Information Collected and Uses of Collected Information
We collect two types of information about our Website Users: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information.
Personally Identifiable Information. Personally Identifiable Information is information that pertains to a specific End User. From time to time, we provide offers from particular merchants (referred to as “GoHalal”) who, as part of the offer, request information on GoHalal customers who purchased the offer in order to aid redemption. In those cases, we share some of your Personally Identifiable Information with GoHalal Merchants. Sharing this Information may allow a GoHalal Merchant to market directly to you should they choose to do so. However, we will only share Personally Identifiable Information with a GoHalal Merchant if you engage in an Identification Activity, and then only to the GoHalal Merchant involved in that Identification Activity. We specifically disclaim any responsibility or liability for the actions of such GoHalal Merchant. While we inform them that they are only permitted to communicate with you for the purposes of the specific promotion with GoHalal, we do not have any responsibility for the actions of the GoHalal Merchant, and the actions of the GoHalal Merchant are not in our control.
We may share your information with Authorized Third Party Service Providers. We provide services and products through third parties. These “Third Party Service Providers” perform functions on our behalf, like sending out and distributing our administrative and promotional emails or text messages. MY GoHalal ACCOUNT SPECIFIC QUERIES
In order to access your account, visit the GoHalal home page and click on “login” at the top right-hand corner. Then enter your email address and password.
Go to GoHalal “login” page and click on the “Login with Facebook” button. It will prompt the Facebook log in page for you to sign in. It’s as simple as that!
If you receive the message “email / password incorrect”, make sure that you are login in with the email address that you used to register with GoHalal. If you verified that you are using the correct email address, the issue might be that your password is incorrect. You can reset your password by clicking on “Forgot Password?”. You will then receive an email with a link to reset your password.
If you don’t receive this email (check your spam or Junk Mail folder), you most likely don’t have a GoHalal account. You might have subscribed to the Newsletter without having created a GoHalal account. In this case, create an account by clicking on “register”.
If you have forgotten your password, no worries, you can easily request a new one. To do so:

Defective products are handled on a case-by-case basis. Customers can opt to send in photos/video of
their defective product to GoHalal or the partnering merchant (depending on the warrant instructions), and will thereafter be advised. Products with manufacturing defects will either be replaced or refunded.

A few points to remember:
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the merchant does not have any more stock, you may wait until they are able to source additional items or request a refund.

Backed by the GoHalal Travel Guides, Halal Mall Getaways will inspire you to explore the world one deal at a time.
Due to the large number of GoHalal that are sold for each travel deal, we advise you to check with the merchant on the availability before your purchase as soon as possible. If you do not have a specific date in mind yet, we advise you to book with your voucher as soon as possible within the booking window after you have purchased. You may face difficulties if you attempt to book near the end of the voucher validity period.

VOUCHER SPECIFIC QUERIES
GoHalal vouchers are emailed out when the deal you have purchased has ended.

Your voucher has a specific duration time with a specific expiry date, which can be found on the fine print of your voucher.
If your voucher code is not working, please follow these steps:
1. Check if your voucher code is active –usually on the redemption date stated on your voucher’s fine print.
2. Check that your voucher has not expired. Once the voucher expires, the voucher code will not work. You can check your voucher’s expiry date on your voucher’s fine print.
3. If you redeem your voucher online, take care to leave out any spaces when entering the voucher code into the relevant space provided on the website.

Under certain circumstances, a refund may be given if you have been unable to redeem your voucher within the period of validity through no fault of your own (e.g. the Merchant refused to take any booking at all within the period of validity). All cases are case to case basis, so seek advice from the customer management agent directly.

You can use your Voucher at any time between the starting of the redemption date given and its expiration date, which will be clearly stated on your Voucher and in the deal’s fine print.
However, please note that some GoHalal deals can be very popular. If you have purchased a GoHalal for services, we highly recommend you book well in advance. Booking times are subject to availability, and waiting to book until toward the end of the voucher’s validity period could prevent you from obtaining a date and time which is suitable for you.
If you wish to cancel your booking, check the fine print of your voucher for details on cancellations and rescheduling as these will depend on the merchant’s own terms and conditions.

When you’re done shopping, the payment segment will be displayed “Enter Promo Code”. You just click and enter your Promo Code coordination.
Via Email – Notification email will be sent to customer who are eligible and also who have subscribed to our newsletters.
GoHalal Website – Customer will be able to notice banners and pop out at our deal page revealing “CODE” of the promo and the T&Ct.
The coupon code will be transmitted to the customer for a specific campaign. Usually the customer will receive through e-mail or posted on the main page of Halal Mall.
You are entitled for the discount as per campaign details. All you need to do is be a GoHalal account holder and you are able to use the promo/coupon code upon the checkout of your purchase.
The discount will automatically apply at check out of the purchase without keying in any code.

Yes. We communicate with all the merchant we work with that GoHalal can be purchased or given as gift, unless the fine print specifically states otherwise. As long as the voucher code hasn’t been used yet, anyone you give the Voucher to won’t have a problem redeeming it.
Each GoHalal deal is available for purchase on the website for a fixed duration period. The clock counting down, as shown on the image below, indicates the amount of time the deal will run, providing that the deal capacity limit has not been reached.
If the capacity is reached before the deal finishes, the deal will become unavailable for purchase and we will mark it as Sold Out.
If it says, “Limited time available”, it means that there is an unknown limited time left, so buy your desired deal as soon as you can before the deal ends!
Each deal has a fixed capacity limit which the relevant business has agreed that GoHalal may offer for sale. We do not disclose that figure, which is commercially sensitive.
Unfortunately we can’t make any edits to the voucher. The value of the deal will therefore show on the voucher. Please note that the ‘Voucher value’ on the voucher indicated the original price of the deal without the discount.
To remember: For data protection reasons, any query related to the voucher will have to be made by the person who purchased it.

If you have filled in the redemption form (or emailed merchant your order directly), then the merchant might be in their restocking period. This period usually takes up additional 14 -21 working days for the product to reach your doorstep.

To change your delivery address, you need to contact the merchant (or GoHalal if we are the one who is handling delivery for that deal) who will be redeeming your voucher as soon as possible to avoid your product being delivered to the incorrect address. Some products might be facing delay in delivery especially when it comes in bulk. This could be due to several factors such as bad weather during shipment of product to our shore or customs issues once they have docked at our port.
Furthermore, due to recent implementation of the shipping act by Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia and Federatioin of Malaysian Freight Forwarders (FMFF), there will be a 100% customs inspection conducted to every cargo imported from China. As such, this act will and has affected many of our merchants which led to delays in the delivery process.

If that is not the issue, our announcements might have skipped your inbox and landed in your Junk / Spam folder instead. You can check there too to double confirm.
Usually your order will reach your doorstep within the delivery period stated on the Fine Print of your GoHalal voucher.
However should there be any hiccup with the delivery, we will take the responsibility to let you know about it via announcement immediately. It is our priority to get your purchase delivered to you in timely fashion.

MERCHANTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- APPLICATION FOR MERCHANT PARTICIPATION
1.1 All merchants must submit the original completed copy of the Official Registration Form issued by the GoHalal under the management of DAGANG NET TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD with authorised signatory and company seal and to reach the GHEX secretariat.
1.2 Merchants will only be confirmed after the GoHalal receives the full payment for registration fee in GoHalal.
- ADVERTISING SPACE
2.1 Merchants may choose their preferred category of product or service category at Halal Mall once the full payment is settled. The Halal Mall will allocate unlimited advertisement space on behalf of Merchants with specified choice of advertising space.
2.2 Merchants advertisement space is unlimited product but each product or service is limit up to 3 photos.
2.3 Each uploaded product or service will be held on a queue system.
2.4 An extension of two (2) hours for GoHalal approval.
2.5 Confirmation of advertising space will be advised by the GHEX secretariat in email within 1 day from the day full participating fee is received.
- ALLOCATION OF DEALS ADVERTISEMENT
3.1 The Halal Mall shall reserve the right to change the advertisement allocated to the merchants at any time prior to the commencement of the build-up of the advertisement space should exceptional circumstances demand, to transfer or close the deals and to undertake other structural alterations as they deem fit. Such changes shall be at the sole discretion of the Halal Mall and the merchants shall have no claims for compensation because of these changes.
- PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 The merchant registration fee payment shall be made within 7 days of the contract signing date.
4.2 The GoHalal, reserves the right to refuse participation of merchants if the payment is not received in time.
4.3 GoHalal will pay Merchant for each deals properly activated for which a purchaser has fully paid the deal.
4.4 Merchant is registered for sales and uses tax collection purposes, and shall be responsible for paying all sales and use taxes related to the goods and services described in the offer
4.5 The GoHalal, will transfer online the sales transaction by end of month and cutoff the sales purchasing date last by 20th on 11.59pm and after deduction of 10% of each sales purchased amount which the cost of payment gateway fee, GoHalal maintenance, advertising service and GST.
4.4 Sales transaction will be made on every 25th per month.
4.5 The closing date for last sales transaction is at 11.59pm on 20th every month.
4.5 All sales transaction after 12.00 am on 21st will be made in the next month on 25th.
- CANCELLATION POLICY
5.1 All cancellations must be in writing and will deemed to take effect from the date of receipt of cancellations request.
5.2 In the deals of the merchant cancelling their advertisement space, the following terms will apply:
5.3 Once signing the contract: the “Halal Mall” reserves the right to charge / withhold 100% of the registration fee value.
5.4 On the day 1st (which after signing registration date) the deal of advertisement published: the “Halal Mall” reserves the right to charge / withhold the merchant’s registration fee in full.
- LIABILITY & LOSSES
6.1 The “Halal Mall” and all organisations and individuals who are employed by or associated with in connection to this Global Hall Exchange will not be responsible and shall be indemnified by all merchants for damage or loss resulting from or any other cause whatsoever including damage products shipping.
6.2 We shall not be responsible if no transaction purchase is made for each of the products or services offered by merchants.
6.3 The “Halal Mall” shall not be responsible in the deal advertisement of any errors or mistakes in any promotional display in our system.
6.4 The “Halal Mall” is not responsible for damage to merchant’s product or lost shipment either courier out, or returns.
6.5 Damage to inadequately packed property is merchant’s own responsibility. If products or services fail to arrive, merchant is nevertheless responsible to courier up to the hands of the buyer. Merchants are advised to insure against such risks.
- SAFETY AND ADVERTISMENT LAWS
7.1 The merchants shall list the products or services that you want to advertise by category provided.
7.2 Products to be offered shall obtain from JAKIM the Halal status (If the product is food and beverages) and the food for which such terms are being used:
- Does not stem from or consists of any part of or item from animals that are forbidden to Muslims by Islamic law, or animals that have not been slaughtered according to Islamic law.
- Does not contain any substance that is considered impure in Islamic law.
- Is not prepared, processed or manufactured using equipment or utensils that are not free from impurities as defined by Islamic law
- That, in the preparation, processing or storage stage, does not come in contact with or is stored near any kind of food that does not meet the requirements of para(s) (a), (b) or (c) or any substances that are considered impure by Islamic law.
- Food and Beverage Products: Food and beverage products refers to products that are made or produced or are products or produce or output that involve food and beverage.
- Consumer Goods: Consumer Goods refers to goods that are not food or beverage based; for instance cosmetics, clothing and equipment.
- Food Premises: Food Premises refer to buildings and premises where food and beverage business is conducted including restaurants, food courts, commercial kitchens, cafeterias, bakeries, fast food restaurants, canteens, club/hotel restaurants, kiosks, caterers and others.
- Slaughter House: Slaughter house refers to a place or premises for slaughtering and/or processing animals.
7.4 In order to determine the price to be displayed in the deal advertisement is compulsory to be less than was offered in either a merchant’s physical store or online.
7.5 Determination of the price shall include 10% of advertising services, maintenance, payment gateway fee and GST.
7.6 Expiration date: Merchant agrees that the offer will be available per the terms above for a period of at least 6 months from feature date and subject to no further restrictions by the Merchant. To the extent required by applicable law, after the Opportunity Expiration Date, Merchant shall permit the purchaser to redeem the Voucher for the goods and services of the Merchant in the amount of the cash paid by purchaser, until that cash amount is redeemed in full.
7.7 Partial redemptions: If a customer redeems a Voucher for less than its face value, the Merchant will not be responsible for issuing a credit or cash equal to the difference between the face value and the amount redeemed, unless otherwise required by law. However, the Merchant will be required to permit the purchaser to redeem the Voucher in the amount of the cash paid by the purchaser, as noted in Section 7.5 above.
7.8 Voucher Publication and Delivery. Vouchers shall be published on the Website in accordance with the Terms. The last date on which Halal Mall publishes the Voucher and offers it to its users shall be considered the Run Date. The Voucher shall be activated, which means capable of being used for purchases with the Merchant in accordance with the terms of the Voucher as set forth in the Terms, only when the certain Volume Threshold of purchasers has been met. At the time that the Volume Threshold has been met; Halal Mall will electronically deliver the Voucher to the purchaser. Once a Voucher is activated and delivered to the purchaser, Merchant shall be solely responsible for all customer service in connection with the Voucher and for supplying all goods and services specified in the Voucher. Halal Mall further reserves the continuing right, but shall not be obligated, to reject, revise, or discontinue publishing any Voucher and to require Merchant to edit or modify the same for any reason, including, without limitation, to conform the Voucher to Halal Mall specifications or applicable Laws.
7.9 License. Merchant grants to GoHalal a non-exclusive worldwide license and right to use, reproduce, display, distribute and transmit the Merchant’s name, logo and any trademarks (“Merchant Marks”) and any photographs, graphics, artwork, text and other content provided or specified by Merchant (“Content”) in connection with the marketing, promotion, sale or distribution of Vouchers, in any and all media or formats in which such Vouchers are marketed, promoted, transmitted, sold, or distributed, including but not limited to, on the GoHalal (Halal Mall) Website.
- TERMINATION OF ADVERTISEMENT
8.1 In the Halal Mall website in which the deals advertisement is or is to be conducted shall become, in the sole discretion of the “Halal Mall”, unfit the offer or in the deals the holding of the deals advertisement or the performance of the “Halal Mall” under Application (of which these Term and Conditions are a part) are substantially or materially interfered with by virtue of any cause or caused not reasonably within the control of “Halal Mall” the said merchant/s and/or the deals advertisement (or any part thereof) may be terminated by the “GoHalal”. The “GoHalal” shall not be responsible for delays, damage, loss, increased cost, or unfavourable conditions arising by virtue of causes not reasonably within the control of the “Halal Mall”. If the “GoHalal” terminates said Application and/or the advertisement (or any part thereof) as foresaid, then the “GoHalal” shall not be liable to the merchants other than the “Halal Mall” shall not be liable to the merchants other than for a prorated refund of such deals days remaining.
- FAILURE TO IMPLEMENT THE PRODUCTS ORDER OR SERVICE
9.1 The Merchants shall courier the purchased products by the buyer within 1-14 working days. Any delay in delivery will be penalized by GoHalal because it affects the image GoHalal and other merchants as well.
9.2 Therefore, we recommend the products offered must have had a certain limit sales in order to avoid any purchase out of control.
9.3 Merchants should implement the vouchers purchased by the purchaser and failing to implement, Merchants are obliged to return the cash value voucher offer to the purchaser. This is true when it is within the validity period specified. If the purchaser fails to redeem the voucher redemption period, the Merchants does not have to bear any cost and it is a buyer for failing to make up for losses in the period.
- GoHalal advise merchants for the product or service has a high value and involves the life of buyer, the merchant must take the shipping insurance products and for deal services shall include the offer with the insurance coverage that has been registered with the insurance body.
- Any distribution damage, defects or the like to the product during shipment and cause an accident or death when getting the service or getaway redeem, GoHalal will not be responsible. Merchants and buyers cannot make any compensation to GoHalal or Halal Mall.
- RIGHT OF POSSESSION
12.1 If the merchant fails to deliver purchased goods or services offered although the buyer has made the payment, GoHalal reserve the right not to give the sales amount and the right to return the amount to the buyer.
- CODE OF BUSINESS ETHICS
13.1 Merchants are to conduct their business in orderly manner so as not create unhealthy practices detrimental to the Halal Mall as a whole.
- ITEMS ON DEALS ADVERTISEMENT
14.1 All deals advertised by merchants must remain at the Halal Mall website space for the whole duration of the deals period and shall not be removed from the Halal Mall website without prior written consent from the “GoHalal”
15.1 The “GoHalal” reserves the right to change the deals advertisement or duration of the advertisement should circumstances demand. In the event of such changes, the agreement to participate by the merchants shall remain in force. In the event of such change in deals advertisement, photos, price of the deals, the merchants shall not be entitled to any claims for compensation in connection with their booking for participation.
- FAILURE OF SERVICES
16.1 The “GoHalal” shall not be liable for any damage or lose by the merchants directly or indirectly attributable to the cancellation, suspension or reduction of the deals from the period advertised or specified due to force majeure, acts of war, military, municipal statutory or civil authority, fire, floods, tempests, excessively inclement weather, earthquake, or combination of sale, serial objects aircraft, strike riots, civil commotions, lockouts, industrial disputes by workmen.
16.2 In the event the deals is cancelled, reduced or postponed, the fees paid to the “GoHalal” or any part thereof may be refunded at the sole discretion of the “GoHalal” but this shall not prejudice the GoHalal’s right to appropriate the entire sum/s or any part thereof for their own purpose to defray administration and/or other expenses.
- LEGAL COST
17.1It is agreed that the merchant will bear all legal costs and expenses incurred by the “GoHalal” in the event legal action is taken against the merchant for any sum due or damages done to the “GoHalal” under this contract.
- REJECTED MERCHANT OR DEALS ADVERTISEMENT
18.1 The merchant agrees that his/her deal shall be admitted and shall remain from day to day solely in strict compliance with the Term and Conditions here in lay down. The “GoHalal” reserves the right to reject, eject or prohibit any deals in whole or in part of any merchant or his/her representatives, before or during the deal advertisement period. The GoHalal and Halal Mall shall not be liable for any damages or loss if the deals or merchant is ejected for violation of these Terms and Conditions for any other stated reason, and no refund shall be made.
